Sicilian-Irish blackbelt reporter Mary Spicuzza just broke the story that Wisconsin has her toes gently eighth in the waters of the lake to Aaron dipped Rodgers and announced on Twitter that Wisconsin Assembly (lower house of the bicameral legislature, with for those of you, didn 't fall asleep reading this sentence) had adopted a resolution that the 12th December 2012, "Aaron Rodgers Day" in Wisconsin.
That was not the only athletic performance on the agenda for the day - Wisconsin was also a hearty resolution congratulating the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater football team, which together give national championships won (the fourth), in which no one cares, and the UW Congratulations on a Badgers' outstanding 2011 season, "so, if you are tracking, it does not matter whether you win or lose the big game in Wisconsin, you're still getting an award.

It can also be a case of too little, too late, as the California Assembly honored Rodgers back in June 2011, so there is reason enough for Rodgers to hold a grudge against his late Wisconsin-to-the-party legislators - as I am sure he will do.
It is also interesting that the official text of the resolution (available here) says Rodgers, "the best quarterback playing in the National Football League", while it is not clear whether they also claim as Blaine Gabbert in the production of itself. I would think that many hours are spent should be debating this issue. We would not want to look like fools here in Wisconsin, going out and explains things simply, without considering whether the evidence supports it or not.
Either way, 12 December 2012, officially the day we celebrate all things Aaron Rodgers. Phantom championship belt, Fu Manchu mustache and a smile will be a deterrent de rigeur.
